LAFCPUG

Founded in 2000, the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (also known as LAFCPUG) is dedicated to the education and use of Apple Inc’s Pro Applications. the largest UG in the world with over 6000 members.

Michael Horton, “Head Cutter” of LAFCPUG (left) said, “To this day almost 100 people per month from around the world continue to join LAFCPUG and the monthly meetings continue to attract between 150 and 300 people,” added Horton. “It’s been a great 10 years, and as long as digital filmmakers find lafcpug useful then lafcpug will go on for another 10 years. And I have grand plans for lafcpug, you can bet on that.”

In addition, LAFCPUG co-produces the Annual FCPUG SuperMeets in Las Vegas, San Francisco, London, Amsterdam and Boston.

Meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month at the Gallery Theater in East Hollywood.
