Soon after Final Cut Pro was released, users groups surrounding the software began to appear. Since 2000, over 60 chapters of Final Cut Pro Users Groups have formed all over the world.
These chapters form a coalition called the Final Cut Pro Users Group Network. Several times a year, a SuperMeet meeting is held to bring together these groups. Currently, regional SuperMeets are held in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston, London and Amsterdam with more cities to be coming on line soon.
With memberships growing in Final Cut Studio Users Groups and packed seats at every SuperMeet, it looks like the concept of a network of digital video users groups is here to stay.
